Cartoonist Ernie Bushmiller endlessly featured animals—both pets and wild—in his immortal “Nancy & Sluggo” comic strip gags. He unfailingly portrayed animals with love and grace, and his famous characters likewise showed respect for all living creatures. 

This simple button expresses a universal message and can and should be worn by anyone, whether a fan of the strip itself or not. This cat button may be followed by variations showing other Bushmiller animals.
